Melissa McFadden is the Chief Audiologist and founder of the Halton Hearing Centre, one of Oakville’s only independently-owned and operated hearing healthcare clinics. She is an experienced Clinical Audiologist and her main priority is delivering patient-centered care. She works with Dr. Jack Kolenda (Otolaryngologist) in Oakville’s state-of-the-art Otolaryngology (ENT) clinic.
Melissa sees patients of all ages, and she specializes in the administration of complete and thorough hearing tests, hearing aid prescriptions and recommendations, hearing aid fittings, hearing aid adjustments, hearing aid repairs, verification of hearing aid performance, patient counselling and patient advocacy.
Melissa McFadden earned her B.Sc. (Hons.) from the University of Waterloo, and her Master of Science degree in Audiology from the University of Western Ontario. She has extensive research experience, and is published in the area of auditory processing and the development of the auditory nervous system in infants.
Melissa is a licensed practitioner with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO), and is also a member of the Canadian Academy of Audiology (CAA).”
